Race Explanation: It is really difficult for people to see her, ESPECIALLY in the dark, but she looks like a small, semi-translucent child with her feet off the ground, and a small fire, usually of soft, enticing colors hard to see in sunlight, permanently floating around her. Sometimes, when people look at her in daylight, they’ll see a reflection of themselves, floating in the air.

Appearance: Extremely pale, with small features overall, and a small, round face. She wears a raggedy, sleeveless, white one piece that never looks different and keeps her babyish feet bare. Her skin is very soft, because she mostly stayed hidden during the daytime, convinced the sun was evil, and never touched anything. Her teeth are white, but very… very… pointy, and her eyes are large and golden. Silvery white, short hair.
About your character: She grew up mostly alone, as all Will o’ the Wisp children do, and has no idea where she came from. As a will o’ the wisp, she’s always looking for a friend, but ends up mostly drowning humans. She’s not actually transparent, she just looks that way. Her voice is very high and soft, except for when she’s angry: it kind of THUNDERS when she’s angry, but she doesn’t get angry often. Sometimes she can be very childish, but she thinks of herself as very mature. She’s very weak and doesn’t need to eat. She can see in the dark, and still isn’t really used to bright lights. She keeps the runic pen tucked behind her ear.

Tool: Runic Pen looks like a fountain, is thick, dark blue with a white crescent moon, and a black spider with ruby (literally) eyes that glow when she uses destruction araenae magic (just the eyes). Both features seem to be slightly ruined by the fancy swirls carved all over the body of the pen, which is very round, not just a straight cylinder. Writes much easier than a fountain.
Upon Acceptance, you have been assigned a mentor. This mentor will be a perfect grade second year student that will teach you the ways of magic you chose.

Mentor Personality: Slightly flirty, extremely confident, and will listen to others’ advice and suggestions, but is hard to shake: as in he doesn’t take interest in other people’s lives or interests very easily. Has the funny ability to find people he’s looking for easily and to this day no one knows how he hides his staff when he’s not using it.
Spells:
– Spider String – Shoots a slim, sturdy sticky string into a direction that sticks to a surface, and kind of slices if it hits someone.
– Spider Wrap – Shoot a slim, sturdy, sticky string that wraps around something and tightens, restraining, but not cutting. Hard to break.
– Pith Rune – A small, 10 cm diameter circle around a wound which it will heal in a little shorter time and which lessens the pain slightly.
– Watching – Grenlin’s spell. Can show people Perla speaks of, but image and sound is blurry if not within 100 ft and only shows a foot away from the body of the person. Can’t show random things.
– Teleportation – Grenlin’s spell. Can transport Perla and one other a short distance away as long as someone Perla speaks of is there. Causes nausea and other kinds of extreme travel discomfort. Takes ten seconds to activate and takes longer to actually occur depending on how far away. Longest distance possible is 1300 meters (little less than a mile), and does not occur unless Perla touches the little ball of grey light he creates in his hands. Can only be done if he wants to do it. Min recharge is 6 hrs, max is 30. Sleeps while recharging and cannot do Watching.
