Sons and Daughters of Olympus

Essentially a PJO-inspired fandom RP. (It’s not strictly PJO, because some liberties are taken with what demigods can actually do.) What started with a bit of a wandering plot eventually turned into a story about a large group of demigods fighting both Hades and Kronos. (This was hosted on RPN, but did end up sort of spreading to Iwaku as a 1x1x1, where they again have to defeat a reborn Kronos.)

In a town in the US called Kovesgrove, a strange, terrible disease has spread that causes the infected to start developing animal characteristics. The infected are known as the Feral Mutant Infected, or FMI for short. The normal people are afraid of the FMI, some justifiably, while the FMI make their living quietly, in the shadows of society.

6 Feet Under

Hosted on Iwakuroleplay (as are a number of other RPs from then on). It turns out that death is not the end for everyone. If you’re cremated, that’s it, but if you’re buried, your life in death has just begun. That doesn’t mean the life after death is safe, though. The world of Necropolis is unfair, with the strong destroying the weak for their own power, killing a second time, but this time with magic powers available to them, and no laws to stop them.

Olympian Inheritance

Long ago, there were only demons, gods, and humans. In order to defend against the demons, however, the gods granted four families of humans powers. Their strategy worked, and the humans and the gods won, but after the war was over, the humans refused to give up their new powers, so the gods cursed them with weaknesses, and these four families became the vampires, the shapeshifters, the witches, and the fairies – supernatural creatures that now roam the earth.

A long time ago, aliens known as the Elementias came quietly to earth, integrating seemlessly with the humans as they looked exactly like them, but unlike humans they had power over the four elements. Children between humans and elementias are known as the Awakened Children, and are now sent to Aldagisa Academy, where the best of the best learn to control their powers.

Wither

Based on the book Wither, the human population has supposedly been perfected, only to be stricken with a condition that kills off men at 30, and women at 25. The world has largely fallen into chaos, except for the very rich, who are sponsoring the geneticists desperate to find the cure. Polygamous relationships are now considered totally normal, as women are used as chattle to bear more children to experiment on. (Most of the characters are supposed to be women vying for the attention of a single rich boy played by the GM, but I gotta play a genius scientist chick.)

This was an attempt at a voice acting RP, punctuated with the mystery of one of the students’ brutal murders getting quietly swept under the rug, perhaps because it was perpetrated by an elite group in the school known only as, The Club, which serves as a sort of student council.

From the perspective of the humans, strange meteors have been crashing to earth, accompanied with a range of natural disasters, so the humans have set up a task force of people who seem immune to the effects of the Sins and Virtues, to figure out what exactly is going on and how to stop it.

The second part of a magical academy RP (and marking a temporary return to RPN). I don’t know probably as much as I should, because I never figured out how the first RP played out, but essentially Demios Academy is a school for kids with supernatural abilities, but some sort of dark presence hangs like a cloud over the school.

Each player wakes up one day to discover a series of texts from an anonymous sender who signs himself off, “With Love, S.S” This mysterious S.S is playing a game. Every single character has a terrible, dirty secret, and this S.S is blackmailing them, forcing them to do whatever he demands of them. It is up to them to discover the bigger picture behind what he’s making them do, before terrible things come to pass, though none of them are truly clean, themselves.

Soul Eater: Wretched Souls

A fandom RP for Soul Eater, set in a future where the witches have been mostly wiped out, after having finally gotten their hands on the Book of Ebon. The final struggle isn’t over, though, it turns out. The remainders of the witches, armed with their copies of the Book of Ebon, have developed seven terrible Kishin eggs called the Wretched Sinners, and it is now up to a new generation of meisters and weapons to stop their terrible plan from coming to fruition.

Those 6 children have been raised in a 10-story building, isolated from the rest of the world, and treated more like tools than people. When a security breach suddenly occurs, the 6 teens now have the opportunity to escape from the lives they have always known, but can they hack it out there, in the world they’ve only ever read about?

A sort of slice-of-life fandom RP of Fairy Tail, except with a series of all new guilds set in Fiore. The four guilds players can join are Red Dawn, Colomba, Titanos, and the hidden dark guild Hiraeth Seis. A strong rivalry currently exists between Red Dawn and Hiraeth Seis.

The wolves have been there far longer than the regular human settlement, but as the town extends further and further into the forest, tensions grow. One pack wants to yield to the humans, and one is determined to roam the lands they always have. In between all of this stands two young pack leaders, struggling to navigate this stand-off and their feelings for each other.

In an HP fandom world, a Korean wizard who is part of a secret cult (refer to the Wizarding World Works page) has to hunt down poachers of magical animals who have the sacred beast of Korea, the White Tiger. But he’s not the only one with stakes in this mission, as he discovers when a magizoologist from Canada joins him in his journey to track down the smugglers and put a stop to the growing illegal trade once and for all. The only problem is, the two groups have different priorities that may come into deadly conflict just when they need each other the most.

Now, however, a new race is on to defeat the growing presence of more malevolent spirits with the prize this time being godhood itself. But none of them know that dark forces are at work behind the scenes of this particular race that threaten to destroy the Jade Emperor and the world as they know it.

A side story branching off from the alternate timeline GoT fandom RP Season for Snakes, but largely unaffiliated with the main part of the story. Kyne Sand, bastard of House Manwoody, finds his life horribly changed when his father officially adopts him as his legal son, and some unfortunate misunderstandings lead to his betrothal to the heir of House Baratheon, a woman who he considers a good friend, but could never have imagined marrying. Possibly worst of all, this throws quite the wrench into his plans to murder his two older brothers during the upcoming civil war brewing in Dorne.

When one girl is kidnapped, however, and her half of the pipes stolen with her, more than one pantheon gets involved to try and get her half of the pipes back, since they hold more power than even their owners yet know. Her twin, on the other hand, just wants her sister back, and isn’t so sure she trusts the people sent to “help” her.

Fish Outta Water

In a futuristic version of Ezoeran called Erinyel, children are known to sometimes exhibit animal characteristics in times of stress to protect themselves (inspired by +Anima). This is exactly what happens to one such young man, who finds himself waking up from an attempted drowning at the bottom of a river with a tail where his legs used to be. He gets found by a mermaid princess and taken back to the mermaid kingdom where they live in peace, but when the princess’s brother is kidnapped by humans, it is up to him to help the princess and get the prince back.

A very long-running Harry Potter fandom RP with a lot of reboots and different versions. For the most part, there is minimal overarching plot and it is usually set in modern times (so after the time of the Golden Trio), but an increase in half-breed students brings increasing racial tensions in the old school.

Return of the Dragon Tamers: The Plague of Ogual

Set in the generic high fantasy world of Illos, long ago a dark dragon rider named Ogual rose and nearly destroyed Illos, but he was pushed back by the dragon riders. Now, long after Ogual’s demise, a darkness stirs in the distance again, threats of Ogual’s plagued army. Most of the dragons have gone extinct, except for a precious last rasher of dragon eggs, only one left of each kind. A new generation of riders has to rise up if they want to have any hope to defeat Ogual and his new army a second time.

Now King of Ghosts, his last concern for the mortal world is in thanking the friend who loyally helped him get buried, and in watching over his sister. And he thinks the solution to both of these problems is obviously to play matchmaker between the two of them.

The Princess of Prosperaix

A beautiful young princess retakes the throne stolen from her family by an upstart noble in her childhood, and now is trying to maintain a grip on the fragile peace the kingdom finally has in the face of many who would wish to seize power for themselves. Her past comes roaring back, however, when the representative of a new tribal coalition in the south turns out to be the man she saved from prison when she escaped years ago. And she has to decide whether his devotion to her is a tool that will help her, or a weapon that will destroy her.

Ideas for Future Stories and RPs

The Dragon's Kiss

Actually an old RP idea that sadly never really became a thing. The Princess Amelina Carrowen of Barthoff has been locked in a tower after having been cursed by a witch when she was a little girl. The rules of her curse are pretty simple: She can’t take a single step outside of her tower unless her true love kisses her. If anyone besides her true love kisses her… she turns into a dragon! As a dragon, she can leave just fine, but she becomes a dragon completely, and flies back before turning back into a human by the time the sun rises. This plot is meant to be a sort of goofy fairy tale spoof in the vein of the Enchanted Forest Chronicles and Shrek.

Zodiac Houses

Thirteen magical houses are scattered around Asia, each representing one of the zodiac animals (+ the cat). Recently, however, members of each zodiac have been disappearing and coming back with their memories wiped, their personalities changed, and their powers… gone. Their mysterious adversary has given them one year to work together and find him, or they will all meet the same fate.

Spiderlily Red

An asian-style concubine romance (either RP or personal story, I don’t think I’d mind either way. I love concubine romances and there are a damn shame of a few of them). This could also be played politically instead of romantically.

Idris Rewrite

Rewriting Idris’ story from the Sons and Daughters of Olympus roleplay to exclude irrelevant characters and write up new ones to stand in for other people’s characters (since I don’t want to be stealing anything from anyone, and I’m not longer in contact with any of these people to ask for their permission to play their characters).

Demon and Angel Romance

Pretty much self-explanatory, though in a world where demons aren’t necessarily inherently evil. More like a romeo-juliet circumstance.

Sweet Dreams

An RP I tried with someone else that never really got anywhere. An attempt to do Okane ga Nai NOT awful, the heiress of a gang, CEO of a legitimate business being used to launder money, is tricked into going to a human trafficking auction, and discovers that a girl who once saved her life is being sold there.

Light Without Sun

Potentially a future RP with a complex mermaid world, focused largely on political shenanigans (goodness knows how well my political RPs have gone so far, but still).

Demon Hunters

I made my Kamiyas for this sort of magical academy setting where demons are running around and these children are being trained to fight them, but I never really got to use them before every RP I made them for died, so I’d love to have an RP like that at least once. T-T

You Are Wrong

A world where it turns out everything we believe to be reality is just a dream. The times when we believe ourselves to be “asleep” are when we’re actually awake, and reality is a world where people with different magical abilities are constantly forced to fight due to a curse cast by a witch long ago.

The Weight of Royalty

An idea inspired by a kdrama called Faith where the young queen goes through a miscarriage, but has to remain cool and calm because of her position, and is unable to express her grief. Iono, there’s no real direction for this idea yet, I just thought that scene was really powerful, and they don’t explore it much, so a story where the crux of it is about loss vs duty, I just thought would be cool to explore.

Romantic Horror

A story I promised someone for Christmas a long time ago that uh, I never finished because it was hard. T-T But anyways, the idea is that a girl gets trapped at work overnight and has to escape a monster coming to get her. With romance thrown in there somewhere, or something.

Close Your Eyes

I technically have like 3/4 of a page written for this, but that’s practically nothing. Anyways, the main idea was about a boy who doesn’t really have anything he cares about or loves in life, just walking through life like an empty shell, and therefore is mute by choice, not circumstance, when a very bright other little boy walks into his life. I actually think this might have been my first romance or even heartfelt friendship idea that involves two boys. Lol. I never realized that before.

The Center of Paris

From above, Paris has like a web-like shape, what if that was actually an intentionally drawn pentagon or ward. Inspired by the Nicholas Flamel series and the structure of Paris (though I suppose they use the same idea in Supernatural as well).

Stars

Stars as far as we can see them are just little spots of light in a dark night, no more interesting really than if someone poked holes in a black canvas and put it in front of a light, so why have we always been so fascinated by them? What if it was more than just our fear of darkness? What if there was actually a good reason for it? xD Though I can’t think of one, yet.

The Meaning of Water

Based off of the (most likely BS pseudoscience) documentary Messages from Water, which claims that the structure of water records the history of its experiences and reacts to positive and negative emotions. Personally, I think the science is not very well-supported, but it provides an interesting basis for a story where water is actually magical and contains both memory and power. People born with the power to control water in this universe, control everything, and have abilities beyond the typical water elementals. (Wow, Frozen II heckin beat me to it.)

True Power

Based off of a dream (3/4/19), where a turbulent political situation causes a lot of people in this one family to kill each other (surrounded by three romances struggling to survive in these tense times which was probably inspired by Prince Don’t Do This), until it turns out that the king of heaven inserted himself into the family because he had fallen in love with one of them and given her his power, but unable to handle his power, she lost her memory of the whole thing and moved away (possibly inspired by manga Threads of Love).
